James "Jim" Carr

NAS is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of James "Jim" Carr. Jim has been involved in NAS since 1992. Most recently, Jim served as the Program Chairman and Proceedings Editor. CLICK HERE to read more and to find memorial information. 


M. Rosalind Morris

Rosalind Morris passed March 26, 2022 just a few weeks shy of her 102nd birthday. She was one of the first female faculty member hired by the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. CLICK HERE to read more about her legacy and to find memorial information.


Mary Kalen Romjue

Mary Romjue passed away on July 4, 2022 at the age of 82. Mary was born in Scottsbluff, NE and was a '91 graduate of UNL  receiving her Doctorate in Science Education.  She was a active member of NAS and received the Friend of Science award in 2018. CLICK HERE to read more about her legacy and to find memorial information.
