2025 NAS Annual Spring Meeting (Hybrid)

The meeting will be held at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln East Campus Union

April 25th, 2025

For 135 years, the Nebraska Academy of Sciences has hosted an annual meeting designed to bring the scientific community across the state together to 'share their science' with professionals across the state.  Researchers, faculty, students, professionals and citizen scientists can submit an abstract for the annual meeting in one of the following sections: 

Aeronautics and Space
Anthropology
Applied Science and Technology
Biology
Biological and Medical Sciences
General Chemistry
General Physics and Engineering
Earth Sciences
Ecology, Sustainability and Enviornmental Sciences
Teaching of Science and Mathematics


When you present your research at the NAS Annual Meeting, your abstract will be included in the Program and Proceedings for the 135th Annual meeting and stored digitally at the University of Nebraska Digital Commons.  Add your chapter to the rich history of Science in the state of Nebraska!  


PLEASE NOTE, YOU MUST BE A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING OF NAS TO PRESENT AN ABSTRACT AT THE ANNUAL MEETING.

Nebraska Academy of Sciences Member:

  • General Registration – $55.00
    Includes meeting registration and lunch
  • Student Registration – $40
    Includes meeting registration and lunch.

Non Member  Meeting Registration Fees:

  • General Registration-$125.00
  • Student Registration-$75.00
  • Viewing Fee-$15.00  (This registration option is for Family and Friends and does not include Lunch or Ice Cream ticket)
